Pediatric Consultant

Dr. Celina Moore

Dr. Celina Moore is a board-certified pediatrician dedicated to delivering personalized, relationship-based medical care for children and their families. As the founder of the concierge pediatric practice Moore Healthy Kids, she combines the highest standards of clinical excellence with an integrative, attentive approach that prioritizes accessibility, trust, and continuity of care.

Beyond her private practice, Dr. Moore serves as the Medical Director of the Akoma Ntoso Foundation, a nonprofit organization she founded with her husband, Steven. The foundation provides healthcare outreach, education, and resources to underserved communities in rural Ghana. Her work reflects a deep commitment to equity in healthcare and a belief that every child deserves compassionate, high-quality medical care—regardless of geography or circumstance.

Dr. Moore’s clinical philosophy is grounded in integrative pediatrics, emphasizing the care of the whole child by addressing physical health, emotional well-being, developmental needs, family dynamics, nutrition, sleep, stress, and environmental influences. In addition to her pediatric practice, she is deeply committed to supporting the mental and emotional health of children and adolescents, working with patients navigating anxiety, mood concerns, behavioral challenges, and the impact of life stressors. She views mental health as inseparable from physical health and prioritizes early identification, thoughtful guidance, and collaborative, family-centered care.

Dr. Moore completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital), where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, evidence-based pediatric care across a broad range of clinical settings.

With over two decades of experience in pediatrics, Dr. Moore is known for her approachable style, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to preventive care. She is passionate about empowering parents with the knowledge and support they need to help their children thrive—medically, emotionally, and developmentally.

In addition to her clinical and nonprofit work, Dr. Moore serves as an Affiliate Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine, where she is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students. She is deeply committed to medical education and to inspiring future physicians to practice compassionate, patient-centered, and holistic care.

When she is not caring for patients or leading medical missions, Dr. Moore enjoys exploring new cultures, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is trilingual and is currently learning Twi and Fante to better communicate with patients in Ghana. She also enjoys mentoring students and spending time with her three children, Celina, Gabriela, and Fernando.
