Christine Marino, LMHC

Christine Marino is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She takes a warm, straightforward, and non-judgmental approach to address the unique needs of individuals and couples.

With extensive experience working with teens, adults, couples, and families, Christine encompasses a diverse skill set through roles in Detox, Residential, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, outpatient and private practice settings. Her diverse background enables Christine to understand and address a wide range of client needs.

Christine’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, the Gottman Method for couples, as well as a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Additionally, Christine integrates other evidenced-based approaches as needed.

Areas of specialization include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Borderline and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Substance Use, family-of-origin trauma, and other related disorders. Christine believes in the power of collaboration and strives to tailor each session to meet clients where they are, guiding them toward personal growth and fulfillment.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Education in Counselor Education, and an Education Specialist in Counselor Education, all earned from Florida Atlantic University.

Her primary focus is on helping her clients transform thoughts into action and empowering individuals to create meaningful changes in their lives. She does this by using reflective questioning to promote deeper understanding, in addition to incorporating her extensive training.
